Crochet Bunny Ears

These crochet bunny ears are quick to make, and easy to stitch onto a padded headband from the dollar store. You could even add some flowers to fancy them up for the Easter parade or your favorite cosplay con.

Headband:

Note: You may need to make some adjustments depending on the diameter of your headband.

With A make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in ring. 6 sc

Continue working 6 sc rounds, increasing if you need to if your headband has a taper and gets wider, decreasing as needed if you increased, until work is long enough to cover the headband. Fasten off.

I did not mark the first st of the rnd, because it honestly doesn’t matter and working without a st marker is faster and easier.

When the headband cover is complete, insert the headband into the crochet tube, and use the tapestry needle and thread to close off the end. Weave in ends.

Assembly:

Weave in all ends.

With wrong sides together, sc 1 solid color and 1 2-color ear together along both sides.

At the bottom edge, fold each outside edge towards the center to give the ear some depth.

Sew the bottom of the ear closed, and sew the ear onto the headband tightly.
