Busy busy busy…

Every week I say I am going to blog more frequently and every week it goes to hell. Herewith, some of the last week’s excitement

WEBS! I had never been there before and was completely and absolutely overcome with faintness at the amount and variety of yarn that was all collected in one place.

Here are a few shots of the warehouse, where the Kid and one of her local buddies spent some time running around and trying to stay out of trouble.

I also brought home a few bags of bargain goodies – pix when they turn into WIPs…

ETA:WEBS blog has some photos of the event, and while I can confirm the water snorting, please note, you who shall not be named, that it wasn’t me who brought it up first 🙂

Then we have Chelsea, who finished her first sock and immediately cast on for her second. I am not trying to take credit for her diligence or anything, but I did in fact read about the perils of Second Sock Syndrome during the book signing, so maybe I helped a little…

Remember how I said that I was currently living in fear of the doorbell ringing because boxes and boxes of yarn were arriving? And how normally I like boxes of yarn, but all of these had to be turned into finished projects in the next few months and I was starting to get nervous?

Ding dong…. ding dong…. ding dong… ding dong…. AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!

Does anyone want to move in with me for the next four weeks and knit and crochet 24/7? I make great brownies…

  1. Does that include tea? If so, you might find me on your doorstep, only the bunnies would be hard to fit in the house. lol

  2. Hmm… I fear what my house would look like if I left hubby here alone for four weeks, but if you need a test knitter or crocheter who can work from home, give me a holler! 🙂

  3. How did I miss that you were going to be at Webs??? Sorry I missed you. 🙁
Isn’t life GRAND at Webs (and don’t you wish for some unlimited spending account while there)??!!
