Garden Party Cardi is a perfect top to make for the summer – and it’s already getting hotter outside by the moment! Crocheted in two colors of Nazli Gelin Garden 3 thread, it has an oversized fit, is slightly cropped, and buttons in the front.

One of the great things about this pattern is that because of the oversized fit it will fit a wide range of bodies – the finished bust ranges from 40″ to 56″.
Don’t let the fine weight of the thread worry you – because of the open-work stitch with lots of airiness, the top itself works up fairly quickly. And even though the finished fabric is two-toned, you only have to crochet with one color at a time.

It would be super easy to change the colors to ones that you prefer – the yarn currently comes in 20 summery colors!
You can also go crazy customizing the buttons – or even changing the placement if you like. This lacy fabric is completely reversible so wherever the collar folds back, it will look just as nice as the front facing side does.

3 (100% Egyptian Giza Mercerized Cotton; 136 yards/50 grams): #02 Natural (MC) 5 (7, 7, 8, 9) balls, #03 Coral (CC) 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) balls.

PATTERN NOTES
Top is worked in one piece from the bottom up, then split for Back and Fronts, so there are no side seams.
While fabric is reversible, I have marked RS/WS for ease of pattern writing.
