Tangerine Dream Tunisian Lap or Baby Blanket

One of my favorite colorwork tricks is to use a yarn with a slow color repeat in tandem with a coordinating solid on stitch patterns that are traditionally worked in two colors. The multi-colored yarn runs through its color pattern slowly giving you a lovely, usually subtle, ombre effect.

Finished Size: 35” square including edging; 32” square without.

Materials:

Approx 1,000 yd worsted weight yarn (CYCA 4, Medium). Blanket can be made in two colors as shown, or one color if preferred. Model shown in Caron One Pound in #10504 Peach (A) and Caron Jumbo Ombre #19002 Salmon (B).
